The following General Terms and Conditions regulate the contractual relationship between the participant in the conference and the IAASS.
Registration will be open after all abstracts have been submitted and reviewed. Registration can be made via online registration. Registration is considered confirmed once payment has been received in full. The participation fees are owed upon registration and are payable within 14 days following submission of the registration (but not later than 7 days before the starting day of the event).
Without full payment, you are not able to attend the conference in person or access the virtual conference at the Conference online system.
 
The registration of participation is binding, and with your registration you automatically accept the general terms and conditions.

CANCELLATION POLICY
The following cancellation policies apply:

 

  • In-person registration cancellation policy:

Registrations may be refunded, if a cancellation is made in writing up to 30 calendar days prior to the in-person conferences start date. Cancellations received after the cancellation cutoff date or nonattendance will not be refunded and/or tickets will not be re-activated. For cancellations received after the cutoff date with a balance due, the registration amount remains due in full.
•           Virtual registration cancellation policy:
Registrations may be refunded, if a cancellation is made in writing up 7 days prior to the virtual conference start date. Cancellations received after the cancellation cutoff date or nonattendance will not be refunded and/or tickets will not be re-activated. For cancellations received after the cutoff date with a balance due, the registration amount remains due in full.
Please remember that canceling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. Individuals are responsible for canceling their own hotel and travel reservations.
If you do not attend the conference and did not cancel your registration but have paid your registration fee, you will not be refunded.
 
CHANGES AND POSTPONEMENT
The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the conference program, schedule and venue at any time. In the event that for some reason a postponement of the conference or a change of the dates becomes necessary, the organizers are not liable for expenses, damages or losses of the participants.
If the event can take place through reorganization or postponement, registration between the participant and the organizers remains and is subject to the cancellation policy above.


PAYMENT
The participation fees are owed upon registration and are payable within 14 days following submission of the registration (but not later than 7 days before the starting day of the event).

The registration fee schedule is posted at the conference website. A purchase order is not an accepted form of payment. If you arrive on-site with a balance due, you will be required to pay the full on-site regular registration fee. We accept credit card and bank transfer payments. All payment fees must be paid by the sender. Registration and payment will be confirmed by e-mail.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND AUDIO
Photographs, moving images and audio material (in short: media) will be taken during the conference within the scope of press and public relations activities and may be stored electronically for an unlimited period and published electronically and/or in print.

 
By taking part in the conference, you grant the organizers full rights to use the media in their printed and online publicity, social media or press releases, such as publication on the website, the newsletter, on event flyers/posters and general flyers.
IAASS shall not be liable for the use of media by third parties for other purposes without the knowledge of IAASS, in particular by downloading and/or copying such media from publicly accessible sources.
If you do not wish to be photographed please inform the organizer at least 24 hours before the start of the conference.
 
VIDEO RECORDING
Participation in the conference (whether online or not), indicates your consent to being included in the meeting’s recording. Should you have any concerns about this, or do not wish to be featured in any of these materials, please approach the conference secretariat. However you are advised that incidental inclusion of some images of yourself within any recording or photos may take place. Recordings will be available on the conference online system. 
 
MEDIA REPRESENTATIVES ACCREDITATIONS
Official press credentials need to be submitted to proof the status as media representative. There is no registration fee for accredited media representatives.
 
LOCAL ORGANISATION AND PERSONAL DOCUMENTS
Participants can pick up their personal conference materials at the registration desk. The staff at the registration desk is available to assist you during the conference. Participants are requested to wear the name badges on all conference occasions.

PROCEEDINGS
Proceedings will be published electronically. The proceedings will be available online from the conference website.
 
LIABILITY
By registering to the conference, participants agree that neither the organizers nor the conference secretariat assume any responsibility for damage or injuries to persons or property or loss of property during the conference. Participants are advised to organize their own health, travel and personal insurances.

PRIVACY STATEMENT
To request that IAASS removes your name from future mailings, send a request, specifying the name, company name and email address you are requesting to have removed from the mailing list, to: iaass.secretariat21@gmail.com
 
FORCE MAJEURE
IAASS shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental or military authority, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of war, epidemics, the availability of the Venue or other similar causes beyond its reasonable control and without the fault or negligence of the organizers or its subcontractors.
After the cancellation cutoff date, payments made are not refundable for any reason, including, but not limited to, failure to use conference attendance credentials due to illness or due to any event beyond the reasonable control of the parties, such as an act of God, natural disaster, travel-related problems or an act of terrorism.

For one or more of such reasons, IAASS may postpone, reschedule or cancel the event without liability on the part of IAASS.

In the event the conference cannot be held or is postponed pursuant to this section, IAASS shall not be liable to attendee for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodations costs, or financial losses. Payments will be refunded if the conference will be canceled by the organizer. In that case, the organizer will have no further liability to the client. Registrations remain valid if the conference has to be postponed.

 
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE
We reserve the right to change, add, add or remove the above terms at any time without notice. Should one or more of the conditions listed in these general terms and conditions be or become invalid, the remaining conditions remain valid and apply. These general terms and conditions apply to all participants of this event, including presenters, sponsors and exhibitors.
