In-person presentation
Each presenter is allocated a slot of 20 minutes for the presentation. If a presenter wants to allow questions but no discussion time is planned for the session, then the presenter should allocate for questions about 5 minutes out of the 20 minutes slot allocated to him. 

Session secretaries will be assigned to each meeting room. Please arrive in the conference room 30 minutes prior to the start of your session. Please bring your USB device to the meeting room and the session secretaries will assist to upload your presentation on the laptop. There will not be an option to use your own device, as the sessions will be recorded.

Audiovisual equipment in meeting rooms:
Windows laptop – installed with Windows 11, Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF reader
LCD projection - 16:9 aspect ratio
Microphone
Audio connection from the laptop

Preparing your presentation:
Make sure your PowerPoint presentation is in 16:9 ratio (1,920 x 1,080 pixels).

Videos must be embedded in PowerPoint.

 

Presentation file types:
In PowerPoint, save your file as a .pptx. Do not use .ppt, .pps, or other formats, as this will affect your file’s ability to open correctly.

Publication of your presentation:
IAASS will publish the in-person recording of your talk. The session recording will be published and archived in the conference online system, at the Virtual Agenda. Session recordings will be available the following day. Recordings of the 10th of October will be available by 14 October the latest. 

The session secretaries will remove all presentations from the laptops after the conference.


 

E-poster presentation
All pre-recorded presentations will be published on the Conference Agenda (only available for conference participants).
 

It is not mandatory to be virtually present during your session, as the presentations are pre-recorded and we do not have a Q&A at the end of each presentation.
 

All sessions will be fully recorded for post-conference streaming so that all registered attendees will be able to revisit the sessions and catch up with the talks they've missed.

 

Presentation guidelines

  • The deadline to upload your recorded presentation and paper, is 10 September, using the Conference Online system

  • The presentation should be uploaded as a Video (MP4 format), duration up to maximum 30 minutes.

  • The recorded file will become available on the conference agenda.

  • Your presentation material will only be made available to conference attendees. Please note that we automatically assume that presenters accept their recorded presentation to be made available to participants for post-conference streaming on the website. In case of refusal, presenters need to notify iaass.secretariat21@gmail.com, by 10 September.
