Prague Congress Centre

The Prague Congress Centre is one of the modern architectural landmarks of Prague and the largest convention and culture centre in the Czech Republic.

Its location is very practical, being easily accessible from the city centre by underground or motorways. The Prague Congress Centre is situated in a unique location with a beautiful panoramic view of Prague with its large parks, the Vltava River and Prague Castle.

The IAASS conference will be taking place at the 3rd floor of the Congress Centre. 

How to get to the Prague Congress Centre from Prague Airport

Due to its location in the heart of Central Europe, Prague is a very easy to access. The most popular ways of getting to Prague are by plane or by train.

 

The Prague Congress Centre is adjacent to the Vyšehrad station on Line C of the Prague underground railway network, providing convenient access  by public transport from the city’s airport and all major rail and bus stations.

By taxi
Uber is the official Taxi service of Prague Airport. You can book your ride using the Uber app, self-service kiosks, or service counters at the airport. To download the app, click here.
A taxi ride from the airport to the PCC will take approximately 30–45 minutes and costs about 25–30 EUR.

 

By public transport
Take the 119 bus towards “Nádraží Veleslavín” (METRO station). Exit the bus at the final stop and change to the METRO green line A in the direction towards “Depo Hostivař”. You will go to the station “Muzeum”. There, switch to the METRO red line C and go to the station “Vyšehrad”. The PCC is right next to this station. Travel by public transport will take approximately 45–50 minutes.

 

By car

Train - Leo Express
Czech public transport provider Leo Express connects Prague with s
everal cities in Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia (see this map). 

It has announced ambitious plans for a multi-country service zipping across the continent.

The proposed route will whisk passengers all the way from Belgium to Slovakia with a myriad of exciting stops along the way including in Germany and the Czech Republic. The epic route is currently still pending approval. More information can be found here
